 Visual Communication 

Visual communication is a form of communication done through visual aid. It is the conveyance of ideas and information in the form that can be read or looked upon. Visual communication relies on vision.

 

The forms of visual communication:

  1. The text in the book is seen and read.

  2. Picture; video (the visible part of a television transmission, newspaper image, and captured image)

  3. Gesture; motion (the use of movements (especially of the hands) to communicate familiar or prearranged signals)

  4. Body language (communication via the movements or attitudes of the body)

  5. Demo; demonstration (a visual presentation showing how something works)

  6. Eye contact (a meeting of the eyes between two people that expresses meaningful nonverbal communication)

  7. Projection (the projection of an image from a film onto a screen)

  8. Art; artwork; graphics; nontextual matter (photographs or other visual representations in a printed publication)

  9. Chart (a visual display of information)

  10. Graph; graphical record (a visual representation of the relations between certain quantities plotted with reference to a set of axes)
